Using the above article and your own research, write a 3- to 5-page paper comparing 3-4 of the operating systems you find in the readings and other materials from your research.  Compare both technical and non-technical features and explain what you believe are the compelling factors for selecting an OS.  Do not reiterate what is in the articles. Develop your own tables and matrices and develop a paper showing your understanding of operating systems and their strengths and weaknesses. Also include how these OS’s are distributed, licensed, and used.

Part 2

Orion is an online service company that enables member subscribers to conduct their own online surveys. Orion has decided to extend this service to mobile users enabling them to conduct and publish surveys to a community of people using mobile phones. Your job is to sample the most popular mobile operating systems in terms of best fit for Orion’s survey application. Describe and compare the Android, Windows Phone, and Bada OS platform features and their data security performance.

In a detailed 2- to 3-page paper, describe the OS platforms and identify their strength and weaknesses including data security and vulnerabilities. What other health and environmental issues must you consider for Orion users? Do not generalize. Make this a very specific argument with other supporting and research materials.
